As well as traditional catering services, 401 Gourmet Caterers offers clients help with tent & equipment rentals, linens, decor, table settings, bar service, plate ware, glassware and anything else that may be needed. Planning a wedding can be stressful but our staff is here to help guide you through the whole process.

The BEST Wedding Caterer
Mark who owns and runs 401 Gourmet was an absolute pleasure to work with. From balancing the dynamics of parents wanting to be involved with our planning to making sure he perfected absolutely everything for us, he and his team CRUSHED it!
The menu was delicious and all of our meal options and cocktail hour apps were adored by our guests. He checked in with us throughout the night to see how everything was and it was so appreciated.
We highly recommend anyone who is considering to book a tasting with Mark, he and his team will not disappoint!
Amazing Food and Service
In addition to the excellent quaity of the food and the great service, Mark was a pleasure to work with throughout the planning process. He was responsive, he made great recommendations, and he put up with me constantly changing my mind.
Mark also coordinated our silverware, dishware, linen, table, chair, etc. rentals via a company that he works with. Everything worked out great with the rentals and Mark was great at coordinating everything so that we didn't have to worry.
I would not hesitate to hire Mark and his team for your event!

Mark is from Rhode Island and has enjoyed living in New England his whole life. After Graduating from Connecticut Culinary Institute he spent years honing his craft at local upscale and fine dining restaurants including: Newport Restaurant Group, Eleven Forty Nine Restaurant, and Centro Bar and Lounge. He took that experience and started 401 Gourmet in 2017. With a passion for food and a love for New England he creates stunning local seasonal menus and dishes for clients across Rhode Island and Massachusetts.
