Welcome to The Regency!

Close to hotels and nightlife, The Regency is the ideal location for weddings, corporate events, conferences, luncheons and social gatherings. Located in the heart of Historic Downtown St. Cloud, MN, The Regency offers beautiful views of scenic Lake George as well as the fabulously-lit Paramount Theatre and Marquee.

Your guests will be welcomed in our stunning atrium featuring our grand staircase, soaring ceilings, and water fountain. Our professional and friendly staff want you to have an enjoyable and memorable experience, that's why we assist you in the many aspects of planning an event and have one all-inclusive fee.

To get you started here are some quick facts about our venue:

Our First Floor Ballroom seats up to 499 guests on all round tables. We have a capability to create unique and custom layouts to fit any event’s needs. We also have the ability to create a smaller room for an intimate onsite ceremony or cocktail hour and then we can open up to the main ballroom after those events. This also allows you to not have any tables or chairs on your dance floor so you would not need to break any tables down!

We have a stunning 25’+ real brick wall inside of our venue that makes for a stunning backdrop along with 12’ ceilings and floor length windows that bring in natural light.

Our inclusive pricing includes all set up and tear down for chairs and tables, bar set up, linens, microphone, projector and projector screen use, cake tables, gift tables and an onsite coordinator day of your event. We also have a Weekend buy out package option and Bridal Suite that you can utilize for additional cost.

We are within walking distance to all downtown hotels. Also, close to downtown nightlife for bar hopping during cocktail hour and the after party!

We work exclusively with Custom Catering by Short Stop for all of your catering needs. Their pricing is very comparable to other rates around town, there is no food or beverage minimum and you can bring in your own dessert!

Definitely get married at The Regency!

The Regency is absolutely the best place in Central Minnesota to get married. We had to push our wedding back to July 2021 due to COVID, and Katelyn was with us every step of the way for two years answering questions, helping get things set up and, the day before the wedding and the day of, making sure everything ran smoothly. It was absolutely perfect. The space is completely redone and absolutely gorgeous - we couldn't have asked for a better experience!

Highly recommend!

We had the BEST experience at 912 Regency Plaza. The staff was all around amazing; our coordinator, Kasey, helped prepare everything for the wedding day, as well as made sure everything was running smoothly behind the scenes. The catering staff was friendly and efficient, and the bar staff was very attentive. The space is beautiful and the staff will help you make your dreams come true here! We had a unique table set up for our reception and they said, "no problem!" Our wedding day was in winter and so we had many photos inside, and unlike many venues, there are many places to take amazing photos indoors here - but the outdoor patio on floor 3 is magical, no matter what temperature it is! We could not be happier with our experience here! The price is also very reasonable. We would recommend Regency 11/10! P.S. Book the Bridal Suite - it's so glamorous!

I began my career in the wedding industry in 2012, and got much more involved in the industry as a bride myself. While planning our big day, I was constantly searching for inspiration, but also for more information about the next steps. Needless to say, I never quite found that information, which is why I decided to stay in the industry. Upon graduation, I completed a wedding planning course and then started working for a local decoration and design company. During this time I was able to gain more knowledge of the industry and realized what I truly wanted to do- work for a wedding venue! My mission is to help our clients and guests to have a wonderful event that they will remember forever.

As the years go on, I continue to gain great experience designing and assisting with our weddings and events. As my experience continues to grow, so does my passion to educate and inspire those who are looking to host the “perfect” event. I constantly look for new ways to provide inspiration and insight to brides, grooms, and others looking to have that perfect wedding or event. What truly makes an event great is what is in the details, and that is what we specialize in!

Working in the industry (and also being a bride who was “absolutely clueless”) has played a big role in helping me shape and focus my goals, but my biggest roll in life started on October 17th, 2017 when I became a mom to our little boy, Wade Russell. Since July of 2018 I decided to step back from work life and be a full time mom! On November 22nd, 2019 we added a beautiful little girl, Elaine Luree, to our family. After this year and a half break I realized how much I missed the wedding industry and the connections I make with our clients. On January 1st, 2020 I decided to step back into the work world and take on full operations of The Regency! I am looking forward to this new chapter in life and finding the perfect work/mom life balance!
