History

Fells Point is one of the oldest districts in Baltimore. In the 18th century, it was a bustling port and shipbuilding town that connected the local area to the rest of the world through trade. By the year 1900, the area was consistently packed with sailors and a boarding house called The Anchorage was established to house them. After being used by the YMCA, the building was transformed and opened as an inn. Today, it is a charming boutique hotel that offers guests a glimpse into the past.
