Our guests said "Best Wedding Food Ever!"

Agave Roja catered our 150+ person wedding in Corolla, NC at Pine Island Lodge in November 2019, and damn, did they deliver!! We love tacos and mexican food, so in keeping with our baja-themed wedding, we were thrilled to find and book Agave Roja. We loved all of their food at our tasting with them (make sure you show up hungry!!!), and it was exactly the same quality and taste on wedding day. We had a taco bar (so so good!!) as well as three entrees, including mexican street corn (a super fun treat that our guests loved), and an awesome plated salad. We also had their chicken tortilla soup, which multiple guests said was the best chicken tortilla soup they had ever had. Their appetizers during the cocktail hour flew off the plates (mini empanadas, mini burritos, and chorizo stuffed mushrooms). I am a pescatarian and many guests were vegetarian/vegan, so they really worked with us to ensure we had a wide range of food that all could enjoy so no one felt left out. John also had the great idea of doing some "late night snacks" so at 10pm we had more mini-empanadas and burritos come out for guests. Even some of the older guests who didn't think they were going to like mexican food were extremely complementary of the food - there really was something for everyone. John and his staff were very professional, answering any questions guests had about ingredients, and ensuring that nothing ran out. Bottom line Agave Roja delivered big time and everyone said it was the best food they'd ever had at a wedding - we couldn't be happier with how everything turned out!
