From the very beginning of the wedding planning process, Austin made our lives way less stressful. He responds very quickly to emails, which was the first sign that we had found someone really great. As the wedding got closer and we were getting stressed over wedding music, he scheduled time to talk us through what we wanted. My husband and I like a wide range of music, and Austin helped us solidify a really fun playlist! He also had great suggestions for ceremony music, even when we didn’t know where to begin. I can honestly say that our wedding was a blast, and a lot of it was due to hiring Austin!

Austin is a professional DJ, audio engineer and saxophonist and a graduate of Appalachian State University's recording and production program. As a jazz musician, Austin has a wealth of knowledge of diverse musical styles and their history. Besides being a wedding DJ, he works as the Front of House audio engineer at Saloon Studios Live in West Jefferson, NC and at Connerstone Summit Church in Boone, NC. If there is one thing for certain, it's that Austin is ready to rock your wedding!
Makayla Rae is a special events DJ, pop music producer and multi-instrumentalist who knows how to get a crowd moving. Originally from Charlotte, NC, Rae has become not only an acclaimed musician and producer, but also a talented DJ and MC. Makayla's faith is very important to her, making wedding receptions the perfect intersection of passion and purpose. DJ Mak is ready to help you make your big celebration a perfect one!
