I am SO glad that we booked Alayna and her team for our wedding photography, I cannot imagine spending our big day with someone else. She was fun, flexible, helpful and professional from our first zoom call through our wedding day! Small list of examples: she gave advice on our timeline, made us comfortable and hyped us up during our engagement session, walked the venue with me since she had never shot there before, moved us through family photos incredible swiftly, made sure we got photos with all the guests on our list and had photos turned around to us in record time. My favorite thing about working with Alayna, however, was how excited she was about all the little details and special parts of our wedding day, especially including our pup! In our planning meetings, she was so detail-oriented and knew all the right questions to ask, which is one of the most important things for anyone planning a wedding. She was constantly assuaging me and is truly the bestfriend who will talk you down a ledge with her vast wealth of experience…and it’s not unheard of for the stress of wedding planning pushes you to one! She easily ranks at the top for making the experience easy.

Alayna was hands down the best photographer we could have ever asked for! I know everyone always says that about their photographer, but she literally was the best. From the first time we met her, we knew she would be perfect for us. She is down to earth, personable, and ensures she gets to know you and everything you wish/desire to have captured in photos. We are not very serious people and are awkward when it comes to “posing” for photos, so it was important to us to have someone there who could make us laugh and capture the more candid moments and Alayna was absolutely able to do that….with a bluetooth speaker/an awesome playlist!

We are also not very “plan type” people and like to go with the flow…but with weddings it is hard to do that. Alayna went above and beyond and she sent out not only a bride’s guide book to planning and what to think about, but also a Groom’s guide. Alayna has mentioned, if she wansn’t a photographer…she would be a wedding planner. And I hands down believe she could be both if she wanted to. She would send out monthly emails to let us know what we should be doing/booking/thinking about. She truly was a life savior and sends those things to every couple regardless! She is the most organized individual and ensures she captures the “vibe” you are going for.

Garrett and I both had big wedding parties (10 on each side) and she was able to coordinate every one and ensure to get the photos we needed to get in a timely manner. We also both have very large immediate families, so you can imagine that only have 1 hour to get through 60+ family photos would be a nightmare….but Alayna ensured we had a list of every photo/family member that needed to be in the photo and she would call out names of who was in the photo being taken. It was extremely efficient and we were able to get 18 people, 7 kids and 60+ family photos done within the hour along with getting individual photos of us after the ceremony.

Not only that, she is there to be your support woman/someone to lean on when you need to vent/go through hiccups. She is extremely knowledgeable and knows exactly how to handle any moment that may arise. She truly is a photographer that wears many hats and honestly, neither of us have had a photographer before…but we don’t ever plan on changing. We will plan to use her for every life’s moments….that is if she accepts :D
