A little about Alda Stich~

I specialize in local Maine beauty, harmonious fragrance and abundant floral texture. Since 1988 Alda and her most talented local helpers have had a great time creating Wedding and Celebration flowers for well over 1000 Maine Brides. Alda and her husband Bo Atkinson, environmental design partners for near 50 years have multi-disciplinary design practices with offices in the gentle mountains near Freedom, Maine. Alda has an undergraduate degree in plant studies from the University of Rhode Island in Kingston(1968) and a Landscape Architecture degree from the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia (1971). At Penn she studied Design with Nature with visionaries Ian McHarg, Neil Welliver, Frank Kawasaki, Edgar T. Wherry and Dr. Jack McCormack of the Academy of Natural Sciences in Devon, Pa. Alda is passionate about never ending, fragrant flowers and seemless, timeless, happy floral events.
