It’s impossible to even describe how AMAZING Alyssa is. To preface: we live on the West Coast and the wedding was in New Orleans, so planning a wedding 2,500 miles away seemed like an impossible task; but it wasn’t with Alyssa on our side. From the 6+ months of planning, vendor booking, budgeting, and more...to the flawless execution of the wedding, Alyssa was there every step of the way. And I mean EVERY STEP OF THE WAY! There wasn’t one second that we second guessed her work or decisions.

Alyssa always maintained contact, knew exactly where to guide us in our decisions, took control where she felt it necessary, and made our lives incredibly easy. To say, “Alyssa has you covered”, is an understatement. She’s a true professional and that was evident from day 1.

We had to postpone our original wedding date by about 6 months and while it was a tough decision, Alyssa took care of all of the rebooking and really helped ease our minds about everything. After the 2nd wedding date happened, it was so unbelievably perfect that we forgot the first date was even postponed. Alyssa had budget spreadsheets created specifically for us, kept contracts organized and easily accessible, and kept us up to date with all of our vendor payments.

Alyssa found us EXACTLY what we wanted in terms of the catering, decorations, floral options, DJ, photographers AND film crew (and more), and every single vendor was the nicest, most down to earth person. We couldn’t have been more happy with our selections and that’s all due to Alyssa. Every guest that attended LOVED the food and Alyssa was even able to organize a special meal for our celiac (gluten intolerant) wedding officiant. The DJ was great and we had a good size group on the dance floor for the duration of the party! Everyone had an absolutely amazing time and it couldn’t have gone smoother.

We had a hard time initially deciding on our venue and Alyssa found one that wasn’t even on our radar - now we couldn’t imagine having the wedding at any other location. It was perfect perfect perfect.

We didn’t have an official “rehearsal” so before the ceremony and before guests showed up, Alyssa was able to smooth our final anxieties by walking us through the ceremony and giving everyone specific instructions. Everything went so smoothly as if we did have an official rehearsal.

Alyssa really is a one-stop-shop and we can’t recommend her enough. Your wedding is supposed to be the most amazingly happy day of your life, and ours was exactly that. Do yourself a favor, do your wedding a favor, and plan with Alyssa Arlene Events!!!!!!

Alyssa was heaven sent! I was in my first year of PhD school and she took some of the biggest “wedding planning stress” off my hands. I had many of my vendors already picked out (location, caterer, florist, cake person), but I still went with her full package because after meeting her, I knew I needed all of her smiles and positive vibes to be with me through the whole process. She made my outside wedding an over the top success.

Alyssa met with my mother and I multiple times at the venue to discuss layout, to-do’s, planning, etc. She reminded us on things that aren’t on blogs or binders and gave great insight from her own experience. The biggest help was her relationships with vendors and having her be the go to person for all of them. I appreciate Alyssa more and more as I hear brides-to-be talk about how much they "can't wait till their wedding is over" because of all of the communication that goes into dealing with multiple vendors. She took tremendous stress off me and my mother. In fact, I cried at the end of my wedding because I didn't want it to end!

There were many obstacles with weather (drizzling right before I walked down the aisle to say I do) and thunderstorms the night before (ground being pretty wet), however, she made my dream wedding happen. She was out there wiping down chairs right before I walked down the aisle, just so my guest would be comfortable sitting down. Her assistant was absolutely amazing and so helpful for the money dance. My husband and I danced the night away and did not eat one bite of the delicious food at the wedding, so what did Alyssa do? Packed us multiple to go boxes and had it waiting for us in our room!

Advice to brides debating on wedding planner or not – hire Alyssa! Do not put the “day of” stress on your mother or bridesmaids! Alyssa is a professional and I cannot say enough great things about how much she will allow you to enjoy YOUR DAY!

I am so grateful for all that Alyssa did for us throughout the wedding planning process. My wedding day was seamless thanks to Alyssa and her team. I would recommend her over and over!
