At An Urban Affair, our philosophy is to translate your interests, tastes, budget and vision into a seamless, meaningful event, allowing you to relax and enjoy both the planning of and your wedding day! We believe that you should be able to have a wedding that speaks to who you are as a couple and reflects your own style. On your big day, we want you, your fiancé, and your families to focus on your guests, instead of worrying about vendors or schedules, allowing your guests to feel honored and treasured because you cared about their comfort and hired the very best. this is what we strive to accomplish for every client’s event, regardless of size, scope or budget.
An Urban Affair will customize a plan to suit your needs, based off of the following levels of service (these are general “packages” to get started)
- The Everything, complete full-planning service that covers the design and development of every aspect of your wedding day, with a full-time consultant guiding you through the process. We are the main contact for all of your vendors and take the pressure off of you for scheduling meetings, asking those all important questions and negotiating the specifics of your contracts, allowing you to simply make your final selections, leaving the details of execution to us. Your personal consultant team will also attend to your every need on your wedding day, making sure all the carefully made plans are flawless.
- Luxe Coordination, hands-on guidance from a professional consultant, beginning with a budget consultation, followed by a customized planning timeline for you to follow, with a monthly check-in email detailing your “to do’s” for that month, budget & style specific vendor recommendations, tips & tricks to help with interviewing vendors, and your consultant will be available to answer any questions that come up during your planning. This way, you still experience the whole process, with a expert at the ready to guide you every step of the way.
- The Finishing Touch, day of coordination at its best. We will contact you 2-3 months prior to your wedding to go over all the fabulous plans you’ve made, collecting copies of your contracts, asking about the details and advising on the flow of the day. Then, we will take that information and create a comprehensive timeline, especially for your wedding day. Next comes checking in with your vendors, final walk-thrus, dotting the “I’s” and crossing the “T’s” to ensure that all your plans are realized on your special day.
