History

A family of nine brothers and sisters selected this location back in the early 1900s and requested that architect Albert Farr design and construct a resort on the property. Construction was completed in 1926, and it welcomed many notable Hollywood celebrities and dignitaries. Over the years, the property has gone through many upgrades and restorations, and today, it is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
