Working with David at Blue Plate for our rehearsal dinner and wedding was incredible start to finish. While they offered plenty of options for those that aren't sure where to start, they also let us design an almost completely custom menu, encouraged and took all the feedback at multiple tastings, and made sure both events ran smoothly. Not only was the food delicious (we continue to get compliments from our guests), but their customer service was STELLAR. Would recommend to anyone still in search of a caterer.

When reflecting on the food portion of the Yerkes Future Foundation Gala, we just smile- a lot!!
David Porto and his Blue Plate Catering Team simply blew us away. Our ask was not typical, nor was it easy. We wanted a classic Mediterranean 4-course meal, done in a formal presentation for 300 guests and 50 Vendor meals..... simultaneously.
The food was delicious. The Langostino Orecchiette and Braised Short Ribs with Cremini Demi and Mirepoix were out of this world and The Fire Roasted Clams were an unexpected delight.
The staff's presentation and professionalism were outstanding, and the timing for each course was well-calculated and on point! At every turn throughout this marathon of an event, David and his team were gracious, accommodating, and beyond helpful.
We cannot express enough, our gratitude to David for helping to make our event the incredible success that it was!!

We appreciate each and everything David and his team have done for us to prep for our wedding down to the little details. The staff was beyond exceptional, everyone complimented how pleasant and efficient the staff was and that’s not an easy task feeding 500 people. The compliments kept coming in from how amazing the food was to how perfectly cooked the filets were. All I can say is thank you because there are 3 things I always remember when I go to a wedding and that’s 1. The music 2. The couples attitude (sets the tone for the day) 3. The food!
