Location

The Boston Marriott Cambridge is a contemporary hotel wedding venue located in the heart of Kendall Square.

Our location is walking distance to the beautiful Charles River with the Boston Skyline as a backdrop. There are tons of delicious restaurants and a shopping galleria nearby – it is a very safe and walkable area for your guests. We are also minutes away from downtown Boston so you can get the entire Boston experience without staying in the chaos of the city. We are truly a destination for a fabulous wedding weekend!

Facilities and Capacity

Couples may host up to 450 wedding guests at the Boston Marriott Cambridge. We have one indoor Grand Ballroom that features sparkling wall scones and 4 custom chandeliers with a satin silver finish.

Cocktail hour kicks off the evening festivities in our stunning foyer space which has floor to ceiling windows overlooking Kendall Square.

Highly Recommended Venue

I had my rehearsal dinner, wedding ceremony, and reception here in June, 2019. Myrtle was my coordinator assigned to my wedding and she did a phenomenal job! This was apparently her first wedding coordination (not first event), and I never would of guessed it. She was at the whole event and I had many guests coming up to me and complimenting her on what a great job she did making sure we were on schedule and that everything went smoothly. She was on top of everything and checked in with me frequently leading up to the wedding to make sure I was on schedule with my tasks as well and offered any assistance she could offer. She was very responsive to my mom, now husband, and I with any questions. My bustle stitching also came undone, and Myrtle came to the rescue with safety pins to fix the problem. The food provided by the hotel was amazing (which guests were also raving about). The ballrooms were also renovated a few months before my wedding which I didn't know was going to happen, but the updates were beautifully done. The hotel rooms are extremely nice as well. I couldn't have picked a better hotel or location to stay in. We had many out of state guests, so staying right in the city was very convenient and provided a lot of local places for them to explore before and after the wedding.

Marilyn handed all of our needs from beginning to end. Her servers the day of were fast and attentive. Margaret was her assistant the day of and was extremely attentive. The place was beautiful and I would highly recommend the venue

From start to finish, all of the people and services were wonderful to work with. The best part of the experience was working with Lauren Petroff, our wedding event coordinator. I cannot stress how much I enjoyed working with her. She has a bright and cheerful personality. She created such a stress-free yet personal experience when it comes to wedding planning. You can tell that she is compassionate about her job and really wants to help the bride achieve what she envisions the reception to look like. She was flexible with her time and always responsive with her emails. I think that is what sets the Boston Marriott Cambridge from all wedding receptions vendor because of their strong event planning team. I did not feel stress at all and I got so many compliments on how beautiful and elegant that the wedding reception was. All thanks to Lauren and her team! I highly recommend all brides to book the Boston Marriott Cambridge and request to work with Lauren! She's a sweetheart and goes above and beyond in her service.
