We had such an incredible experience with Brian at our engagement shoot! I have worked with him professionally as we have both taken part in other weddings and events, and I am so glad we met! His unique style of photography really stands out and provides an authentic alternative to some of those once in a lifetime moments you want captured.

Prior to our shoot, Brian thoughtfully shared advice and helped provide guidance as we prepared. From helping us select outfits/accessories to taking the time and going through my inspiration board, this took detail oriented to the next level and really helped bring our vision to life!

Our engagement shoot took place where we had our first date, and Brian was very flexible with his time and availability. He captured our day with a wide variety of cameras and continuously found new backgrounds/spaces to give us MANY different photos. He made us both feel very comfortable on camera, as the majority of the time we were just us. My fiancé and I got to be playful and personal with one another, while Brian occasionally made suggestions to make the most of our experience. This provided natural candid looking photos that were overall so flattering and simply breathtaking.

We absolutely love the photos that were returned to us and we highly recommend Brian Rickey Photography!! Brian is the best. I can’t say it any more plainly than that. He shot our engagement photos, our covid elopement and our wedding day. He captures us perfectly every time. No poses or crazy gimmicks, just two people having a great day. He was a dream to work with when we had to reschedule and totally down for a last minute mountain elopement.

Beyond his incredible photos, Brian is just so fun to be around. We booked him for his photos, but feel like we gained a friend. He never fails to make us laugh. He is quirky and fun and we love being around him. It is honestly amazing to get to watch him work and see his wheels spinning. It’s so clear how much he loves what he does and that is comes so naturally to him.

Brian is such a lively, fun, and humble man. I will always recommend him for anyone who wants real photography and a ton of laughs. 5 stars does not cut his work. He is out of this world exceptional!!
