Bruce Forrester Photography has been providing exceptional photography services throughout the San Francisco Bay Area for over 30 years and is considered by many to be one of the top wedding photography studios in the country. Having trained extensively with Bruce, award-winning photographer Jennifer Paschal has been creating stunning images for over ten years. Her photography has appeared in numerous publications around the country, including The Knot, Real Weddings, Marin Magazine and The San Francisco Chronicle. She has earned a Bachelors Degree in Journalism from Baylor University as well as a Masters of Fine Art in Photography from the San Francisco Academy of Art University. Her extensive knowledge of the ever-changing technology of photography enables her to provide the most up-to-date options and materials to her clients. Her experience in journalism coupled with her fine art training imparts in her work a photo journalistic quality with an artistic touch.

We could not have asked for anything more than Jen Paschal as our wedding photographer. She is wonderful to spend time with, creative, and extremely talented. Jen took our engagement, rehearsal dinner and wedding day photographs. She is incredibly efficient without making things feeling rushed. She took all of the pictures we requested in an easy, organized, comfortable manner and we were more than happy to follow her lead on ways to get the best pictures, light, and locations. Our families and wedding party were amazed at the ease with which our photos were captured. We continue to be astounded and beyond grateful to her for how our photos came out. Working with Jen was an absolute pleasure and we will most certainly find occasions to work with her again.

We hired Jen as our wedding photographer, and she did a fantastic job! She was a lot of fun to work with, through the planning process and the wedding itself, and her warm & bubbly personality put everyone at ease immediately.

She was very efficient at taking all of the "formal" group photos, and got a lot of great photos of the two of us (and our dog!). She also helped us organize a big group photo right after the ceremony, which turned out awesome (with 100 people, no less), pulled us aside for some beautiful sunset & nighttime shots, and captured a ton of amazing candids through the night, so we have memories of every single part of our wedding. We had her stay until almost the end of the night, because we really wanted to get a lot of fun dance floor shots, and that we did!

The only thing I would have done differently, and my advice to brides/grooms, would be to do some research/thinking ahead of time for what fun, creative or specific poses you might like to capture, and give the list to Jen ahead of time. You will be distracted on your big day (especially if you do photos before the ceremony, like we did), so you may forget all the photos you want; but if you tell Jen or bring a list with you, she'll be on it. There were a few photos we missed that I wish we'd gotten, but we have so many amazing ones that it's probably just as well since we're already going to have a hard time narrowing it down for our book!

Jen sent us the official photos about 6 weeks after the wedding, and put together a 15-minute slideshow of highlights to music, which was the perfect way to be able to share our amazing memories with friends & family.

I would highly recommend hiring Jen as your wedding photographer, and I myself will definitely plan to hire her again for any future photo needs!

Jennifer was very well organized and took amazing photos. I am a bit Type A and I just wish they had given a few directions to us while taking the pictures.
