About

The Burke Manor Inn & Pavilion is a historic inn for couples’ weddings in the greater Raleigh, North Carolina region. This classic and elegant wedding venue includes a charming manor house with green lawns and gardens for a couple’s big day. The venue is located approximately 75 minutes from the Raleigh-Durham International Airport.

Facilities and Capacity
Up to 250 guests can join couples on their wedding day at the Burke Manor Inn & Pavilion. Couples have access to the inn’s garden-like backyard space for a wedding ceremony. Upon this lawn, folding chairs can be set up in the grass to form an aisle leading to a beautiful white wedding arbor. As the backdrop, flowering trees, bushes, and gardens keep this venue private and secluded for the ceremony. The historic Victorian inn makes a charming backdrop for wedding photos or intimate wedding events. For larger receptions, a grand tented pavilion is available for couples. This tent has open sides to let fresh air circulate the reception and invites couples and their guests to step out to see the sunset or the stars. A paved floor and twinkling strings of lights make this tented pavilion the perfect location for couples and guests to celebrate the night away.

Services Offered
Couples can host not just their ceremony and reception, but also a bridal shower or engagement party at this wedding venue. Nine guest rooms are available as overnight accommodations for couples, members of the wedding party or other guests. Onsite parking makes transportation to the wedding simpler for guests. Event planning services are available through knowledgeable and helpful staff members at the inn. Event rentals are also available, with items that include:

  • Altar/arches
  • Centerpieces
  • Chair covers
  • Chairs
  • Dance floor
  • Decor
  • Tables

Accommodation
The nine guest rooms at this venue are available for the night following a couple’s wedding. Each guest room in the house features a private bath with a shower or Jacuzzi tub. Guests will also find free wireless Internet in their overnight accommodations. Comfortable country furnishings make up each room. There are seven rooms in the house itself, with six on the first two floors and a penthouse on the third floor of the inn. Two cottage rooms are also available for more private sleeping accommodations.

History
This house, built in 1906, has recently been restored to its original glory, with all the modern conveniences guests and travelers need. Originally owned by Caesar Cone, of the textile Cone Mills, the house was sold to J.W. Burke in 1911. Four generations of the family lived in this manor house until it was sold in 1999 to the Brady Family. The Bradys turned the historic home into an inn but kept the Burke name to honor the family.

The Most Magical Wedding Venue

My husband and I chose this venue in April 2021 and got married earlier this month, March 2023, and Lori and Dillon were an absolute pleasure to work with through our engagement. The venue itself is absolutely gorgeous, and all the BMI staff is just phenomenal! Nothing beats the food though!!! It was the most gorgeous day for our small and intimate wedding and I’ve relived that day continuously since. The cottages are so beautiful, the inside of the house and the rooms are just as gorgeous and so historical. I hope to celebrate many anniversaries here 🤍 Lori and Lil and all the BMI staff, we are so grateful for all you did to make our wedding so perfect. xoxo, the Wyricks

Perfect Venue

I can’t recommend the Burke Manor enough! We got married here in September 2022 and couldn’t be happier with our decision. The property has multiple options for you to have your ceremony and reception. We did a garden ceremony and pavilion reception and everything was so beautiful. I also highly recommend the catering and breakfast if you stay in a room at the Inn. All of our guests complimented the food and especially the Sangria. Every staff member was kind and very accommodating to anything we needed!

Beautiful location for your wedding

The Burke Manor Inn & Pavilion is such a hidden gem! My husband and I got married at the Burke Manor in October and it was absolutely beautiful. The grounds are stunning, as is the manor. I wanted an outdoor garden wedding and the Burke was the perfect location for an outdoor ceremony. Our reception was in the pavilion, which is extremely nice and spacious. There are grounds surrounding the pavilion as well, so our guests could stay inside the tent all night or walk outside and enjoy the evening in the open air. It was exactly what I wanted.

I highly recommend renting the entire venue for your wedding weekend. We stayed at the Burke and filled the B&B with our family and friends, and that truly made it the best weekend ever. We got to enjoy breakfast with a smaller group on Saturday and Sunday morning, which was delicious and so relaxing. I can’t say enough how nice it was to just be on location all weekend and not have to worry about driving anywhere. My husband and I can’t wait to stay at the Burke again in the future to get to the enjoy the bed and breakfast even more.

Another reason we picked the Burke Manor for our wedding was the restaurant’s high ratings. Food is very important to us and we wanted our wedding buffet to be delicious. We got lots of compliments on the food – I recommend beef bourguignon and pulled pork for buffet options! We also had our rehearsal dinner at the Burke and it was absolutely amazing. We sat outside on the veranda to enjoy the fall weather and it was absolutely stunning. The food was AMAZING as well. We got a ton of compliments on the food and the veranda’s ambiance from everyone who attended our rehearsal dinner. And of course the service was wonderful as well.

I am so pleased with how our wedding weekend went, and a lot of that is thanks to Lori! Lori did such a great job throughout the entire planning process helping me think through every detail. She was so friendly and kind and easy to work with. When the forecast called for rain, she had a rain plan ready to go (which we ended up not needing, thankfully, but she was prepared either way!) I had tons of questions and requests throughout the process and she helped with every single thing. I highly recommend the Burke Manor for your wedding!
