We had my sons wedding at Burl in September. They were so friendly and accommodating to work with. The views of the golf course were beautiful, the room had windows going around on two walls. The bar was set up outside which worked out perfect. Guests loved sitting outside with the firepits going and twinkle lights. We were extremely pleased with the whole experience at Burl Oaks. I highly recommend this venue. We sat 120 for dinner and had about 20 more people come for the after party.

My husband and I got married at Burl Oaks Golf Club on June 24th 2017. Choosing Burl Oaks as our venue was hands down the best decision we made. When we first visited, we fell in love with the beautiful ballroom and the gorgeous grounds outside. Jovana (who was the event coordinator at Burl Oaks when we booked) and Steph (the catering manager) really sold us on the level of service that they provided for weddings. When we learned Jovana was moving on from Burl Oaks, we were very disappointed but, we then met Abby! Abby was hired to fill Jovana's position soon after Jovanna left.

I just can't say enough wonderful things about Abby and Steph. We loved working with them! Abby was super organized and very accommodating. Steph was awesome all-around! Seriously. Any time we asked if something was possible, we were met with an "absolutely!" from both Abby and Steph. And both were available by phone, email, text, etc to answer any questions or concerns that we had. We had several meetings at Burl Oaks leading up to our wedding and I always left our meetings feeling really good and confident about every single decision we made. They absolutely took care of us and our guests.

I'll also mention that the night before the wedding, we were there to set up and rehearse and I was feeling particularly nervous and stressed out. Thankfully Abby was there and she was so very reassuring that the whole event would go off without any snags and she was 100% right. The ceremony site and the ballroom looked amazing. The food was delicious. The staff was professional and friendly. Abby kept everything on schedule. We had a wonderful ceremony and reception. Zero regrets. No mishaps!

I can't recommend Burl Oaks enough! If you're planning on a smaller wedding (<150 guests) go check them out today!

I had my wedding at the Burl Oaks Golf Club on March 5, 2017. It was absolutely the most wonderful experience of my life. Abby, the events coordinator, was an absolute dream! Abby worked with us through the entire process, giving us suggestions for everything we didn't know about. She is so knowledgeable about everything we could have possibly needed. When we would come to her with a crazy idea we had, instead of telling us all the reasons why it couldn't happen, she talked about the different ways we could accomplish it! In the time leading up to the wedding, Abby was constantly checking in with us making sure we had everything we needed for our special day. When the wedding day came, everything was perfect. Everything was set up exactly how Abby and I had discussed. We had a brunch themed wedding and the food was absolutely delicious! The waitstaff and bartenders were exceptional. They anticipated the needs we were having but were never in the way.

The weather was gorgeous! Abby suggested opening a door to the deck area so guests could be outside and inside. It was one of the best decisions we made for the night. Our guests were able to enjoy the first 72-degree spring day we were having in Minnesota with the beautiful views of the golf course in the background.

The whole reception went off without a hitch! Our wedding day was perfect. My husband and I stopped looking at other venues options the second we found Burl Oaks. If you are looking for a place to have your wedding or event, stop. You've found it! I would highly recommend Burl Oaks to all my friends and family!
