Butler’s Courtyard, located in historic downtown League City, Texas, is a historic building that covers an entire city block. This rustic venue offers historical elegance and a slightly Victorian ambience for you to enjoy on your wedding day.
Facilities and Capacity
Butler’s Courtyard and its picturesque building and grounds offer the ideal location for those seeking a rustic chic style with a vintage vibe. The building was originally built in 1909 and is complete with wood and brick accents along with gorgeous chandeliers that add a romantic feel to the space. The venue can accommodate up to 250 guests if you opt for an indoor-outdoor seating combinations, allowing guests to easily mingle throughout the venue seating area. The outdoor space is undeniably beautiful, complete with a courtyard, waterfall and gazebo. The courtyard, referred to as Butler’s Courtyard, has multiple areas for your outdoor wedding and reception activities. The courtyard and gazebo are surrounded by hundred year old oak trees, which give the space an intimate and peaceful ambiance. Butler’s Courtyard also has a bridal cottage charmingly named Rose Cottage. This cottage acts as an enchanting getaway for you and your wedding party, tucked away in the oak trees right next to the gazebo and waterfall. Rose Cottage, playfully nicknamed “Rosie,” is the perfect location to get ready for your big day or simply get away for a peaceful moment. The Shop acts as a groom’s quarters and is complete with a flat screen television and foosball table to entertain the wedding party. The Barn acts as the ideal hideout and gathering space for your guests. This rustic style space also has a smoking deck directly adjacent to the Courtyard.

Beautiful venue - book immediately
The entire experience was flawless and handled with a white glove approach. Our Guests are still commenting on how beautiful and elegant the venue is. Butler's Courtyard truly is an all-inclusive, with added upgrading options if you choose. Shawna and her team did an amazing job with the flow of our event and providing us and our Guests with an experience to remember for a lifetime!
In addition, the two locations onsite to get ready and host your wedding party in was phenomenal! Other places do not have the large spaces that Butler’s provides – An entire cottage for the ladies and an entire Groom Cave for the guys, that they were so appreciative of. They had a chance to relax, stretch out, bond and shower if needed. We do see future bookings with this venue for anniversary and other special event parties. That is how great our experience was!
