Born in Greensboro North Carolina, Bernard had his first debut performance at Walter Hines Page High where he graduated. He wowed the students and faculty with an amazing piano solo which helped him achieved a full time scholarship at Greensboro College. While studying for a Bachelor’s of Arts degree in music performances, Bernard expanded his knowledge in composing and orchestrating music which added to his natural ability to “play by ear”. He later goes and travels the world featuring in several bands such as the legendary “C.J Chenier and the Red Hot Louisiana Band”, “Joe Robinson Quartet” and “Boanerges”. Appearing in many places like Canada, Norway and Europe are a few of many countries Bernard has shared his brilliant gift and has inspired many audiences with his musical passion.

With over 15 years experience performing for varies events, I am accustom to being able to meet and exceed the expectations of my clients. I can perform solo vocally or instrumental as well as offer a band service. Jazz, R&B, and contemporary are what I am more accustom to but not limited to just those. I can play a broad range of genres and styles, and learning new music is not a problem as well.
