We held our wedding reception of 160 guests at Cambria in April 2018 and cannot say enough about the amazing experience we had working with the staff! All staff members were so prompt in their responses to questions, accommodating to our special requests, and willing to do everything in their power to make our special day perfect. We loved that our wedding reception was the only major event being hosted at Cambria that day because this allowed for personalized attention that other venues with multiple ballrooms could not provide. Our guests loved the beautiful view of downtown from the patio during our cocktail hour, the fabulous appetizers and dinner, and the proximity of Cambria to all the fun of downtown Pittsburgh including the complimentary local shuttle bus. I would highly recommend Cambria Hotel & Suites Pittsburgh to host a wedding reception!

We had an amazing experience at The Cambria Hotel and Suites with our daughter's wedding last weekend. The hotel, recently renovated, provided the perfect combination of event spaces to accommodate our cocktail hour, dinner and dancing reception and brunch the following morning, not to mention the comfortable lobby space where we played games and caught up with family and friends. The event space itself was well-appointed and flexible enough to allow us to design our own set up. The patio ended up being the spot where everyone wanted to be with its comfortable furniture, twinkly lights and awesome downtown view. Event coordinator Tracy Anderson was incredible, giving her outstanding attention to detail to us well in advance; making valuable suggestions about logistics, timing, as well as referring us to vendors for things like shuttle transportation. It felt like Tracy was on site and by our sides from the minute we got there, fielding our last minute requests for unanticipated needs with grace and efficiency. She coordinated the reception in a way that ensured the bride and groom got to both visit with all their guests as well as enjoy the meal that Chef Joe Nolan artfully prepared for them. The food exceeded our expectations, each course clearly reflecting the skill and thoughtfulness that went into its preparation. Tracy even sent us a video of Chef hand making our ravioli entrée so we knew that we are in for a treat! Just as importantly, an event like this depends in large part on the army of staff that helps to support it and they were amazing. Front desk staff Rula, Steve and Kelby were warm, welcoming and helpful. Bartenders and waitstaff, Tracy, Chase, Renee, Mandy, Erica, Shana, Sheena, John, Melanie and Leslie were outstanding. Chef Charles gets a +10 for his breakfasts and shuttle driver Erica went above and beyond on several occasions. Could not be happier with the experience, and cannot recommend The Cambria more highly!

Above and beyond, seamless, perfect, flexible and personal: these are the words i would use to describe the best day of my life, and they are all thanks to Cambria. There was not a single person in my or my husband's family who was not treated with the utmost respect and care while we were there. If I had the choice to go back in time and have my wedding at either at Cambria or the Ritz- I would Choose Cambria without hesitation. Choosing them for our wedding venue was absolutely the best decision my husband and I made about our big day.
I have high expectations, and when you plan something for so long you hope that it goes perfectly- but you still worry! On my day, I didn't have to worry for a second because every single moment we were working with them- from the lovely tour of the whole hotel to the last moments of our stay on our way out to leave on honeymoon was extraordinary. Before we picked them, my husband and I went on at least a dozen different venue tours in and around Pittsburgh before we arrived at Cambria. We were on a budget, but we kept leaving other venues with the feeling that they didn't really care about us- that they were just as likely to forget an important detail since they rarely could remember our names.
Working with Cambria was a complete opposite experience, because of Tracy Anderson! She toured us through the hotel, and really listened to us when we explained our budget. Rather than hiding the fees and taxes the way other venues did- she gave us several options for cutting cost while making sure that our experience would be special. Tracy Anderson is the single-most wonderful, organized, and helpful person I have ever had the pleasure to work with. Her diligence and and commitment to excellence meant that every aspect of planning an execution was perfect and beyond what we could have ever imagined. Oh and the food was FABULOUS! (including fresh, made from scratch pasta) wish i could write more, thank you Cambria!
