Classically trained and well versed in rock, Cardinal Harbor's four members exude the poise of a disciplined musical upbringing while taking us to new places with their modern style. Some liken them to Dave Matthews aficionados with indie and folk undertones. Others find their influence to be that of current alternative greats, such as Bon Iver and Sylvan Esso. Lovers of all music will be captivated by acoustic covers and unique originals, both complemented by Spencer McCreary’s poignant vocals. Established 2011 in a college dorm stairwell at Wheaton College, Cardinal Harbor continues to write and perform perceptive melodies. Several members of the band studied music composition at Wheaton and Aaron Krumsieg, trumpet, currently holds a seat in the trumpet performance program at the Yale School of Music. The band has toured throughout Pennsylvania and also in the Midwest. They are currently writing and recording a third studio album.
