Facilities and Capacity

You'll enjoy the exclusive use of our entire 10,000-square-foot venue. Encompassing three beautiful floors, each space boasts its own ambiance and specific use. Enjoy the Elegant Foyer, Grand Ball Room, and two Personal Suites, in addition to our beautiful picturesque outdoor Garden Terrace. Our elegant venue will accommodate up to 250 cocktail-style, and 150 for a sit-down or buffet-style dinner. At Carnegie Hall Newport, we welcome you to bring in your favorite caterer and serve your own alcoholic beverages. For those wanting an entire package, we also work with a variety of caterers, florists, and event planners. We are more than happy to assist you in your selection.

History
This venue was constructed in 1898 as one of the Carnegie Public Libraries. The building’s original name, Newport Public Library, is still etched into the stone above the front door. This historic landmark has been recently restored to host weddings and events in full historic elegance. The Italian Renaissance architecture compliments the antique-style furniture found throughout the venue’s rooms.
