The company also offers a unique experience where you will receive a 3-D mock-up of your venue layout for the big day. Lorin & her business, Carter Creations, were instrumental in making my wedding day spectacular. I clicked with Lorin during the free consultation, and her quote was within our budget, so I hired her. She was very organized, experienced, and knowledgeable. She has connections with various vendors from all over NC, which I found to be immensely helpful because there are SO MANY good choices for florists and DJs and deserts - it's hard to know where to start! She also has a large inventory of wedding supplies that we relied on for decor at our wedding, including a welcome mirror/sign that I loved and an AWESOME sweetheart table setup (see photos). It looked SO classy and I was thrilled by how beautiful it looked and how well it went with the eclectic vibe we had going.
She has various apps and online software tools that we used together to help plan the day, including a custom timeline that kept me organized as we prepped for the big day. It was critical to have her to help me stay accountable for getting stuff done! The other key tool is the 3D mockup software. She had a virtual layout of our venue and was able to show me various setup options so I could better envision my day.
It rained for our day, so we had to switch to our Rainy Day Plan. And you know what? Many of our guests told me they thought it was our original plan; it was so organized and seamless! The biggest reason I'm so grateful to Lorin and THRILLED that I hired her because I able to be present on my wedding day and enjoy the company of my loved ones more than I would have if I had been busy setting stuff up or hustling around.
I would recommend her to any of my friends who are getting married, as well as y'all out there on WeddingWire reading this review ;) !!

Well hello there bride to be! Welcome to Carter Creations! I’m so excited that you are planning the wedding of a lifetime, and truly can’t wait to help turn your vision into reality.
I have been a lover of weddings since before I can remember. As a young child I used to help my mother and aunt – the community’s go-to wedding helpers – prepare for the big day. My very first assignments started with the humble task of ironing and folding napkins, and after some years of learning from and watching these talented ladies, I now have the privilege of carrying on the tradition of excellence.
While wedding day expectations may be high (both among couples and guests in attendance), arranging the event itself definitely doesn’t have to be a source of stress! I truly believe that every couple deserves to live their big day to the fullest and be able to look back and remember nothing but pure bliss and happiness on this once in a lifetime day.
