The company began inadvertently through a 40th Destination Surprise Party at Jazz Fest, 2012. Kelley Troia, the founder, had been asked to help curate the event. The party was a huge success and the high praise began to spread – soon Kelley was receiving requests for more travel and event curating, and Clandestine New Orleans was born. The attention and bespoke nature of Clandestine’s unique services combined with the authentic NOLA flavor lead to exponential growth into 2013.

Soon the business needs expanded beyond the capabilities of one person, and Kim Sayatovic was brought on board. The pair was a perfect match – overachievers with a constant pursuit of perfection and client satisfaction.
