About

Cover Down band is a 7-9 piece party band that plays a variety of dance tunes, including 250 of the best rock, country, jazz standards, old school and top 40. Founded in 2009 in Plano, Texas by Mike (keys) and Danny (vocals), most of its members are graduates of the University of North Texas’s esteemed music program. Their service area includes the Dallas Fort Worth metroplex as well as greater Texas, Oklahoma, and Louisiana. Cover Down has performed for IBM, State Farm, TJX, Varidesk, World Ventures, as well as UNT, TCU, SMU, Texas Tech, UDallas, OU, and others.

With top-of-the-line digital sound and LED lighting, Cover Down has your party covered!

Services Offered

Cover Down band packages include: a PA system with wireless microphones, sound and lighting equipment, a 12-piece LED uplighting package, and MC & DJ services. Additional services include: ceremony and cocktail musician(s), additional PA with wireless lapel mic, trumpet & trombone players, and custom songs.

An early retirement party for my husband and they Rocked the house!!! Very easy to work with and genuinely nice people!! I can't gush enough!!!

An absolute BLAST!

From the beginning of our engagement, we knew we wanted a live band at our wedding and after talking with several bands in the area - Cover Down stood out! Mike was easy to work with, always quick to respond, and met all our wedding day needs! Mike worked with us on everything from the venue to the timeline and offered lots of helpful advice for any questions we had. We hardly left the dance floor as Cover Down kept the party intense for hours!! We are still receiving compliments regarding the music and how fun the band was!

Best band!

Cover Down was the highlight of my wedding!!! Mike was professional, responsive and very easy to work with throughout the entire planning process – from customizing song preferences to organizing the flow of the evening. I received so many compliments from guests telling me how talented the band was and how it was the most fun they had ever had at a wedding. The energy they created was incredible – they played a great mix of songs from oldies to top 40 and kept the dance floor packed all night long! Thank you so much Cover Down for making our wedding a night to remember!
