About Culinary Concerts, Inc.

Getting to know us…

In an age of immediacy and never ending short cuts, Culinary Concert’s Chef/Owner Christopher Bracken pushes against the tide in the most positive way. With almost a quarter of a century of providing fine dining experiences to myriad audiences, his dedicated and committed ensemble of players take exquisite care in the execution of each and every event, and have become one of southern Connecticut’s leaders in the catered fine dining scene, collaborating with clients of local, national and international fame on many of the area’s most important social, corporate, private and cultural event.

Our menus are carefully designed, filled with passion and enthusiasm; our food prepared from scratch with skill and vision. Our staff is arguably the best in the business, and our resources endless in supply and imagination. “No” is never an option and every event is as important as the last or the next.

Client meetings are collaborative between you, the Chef and/or one of our knowledgeable planners. Themes and ideas are shared, favorite restaurants and past weddings attended discussed. Travel and family foods are brought into play, in order to become familiar with your style and tastes, likes and dislikes, so that a menu befitting of the occasion is crafted.

Only the finest, freshest ingredients are used – sourced locally whenever possible. Seasonality plays a large part in designing your flavor profile – color, texture and taste are all considered. It doesn’t come in the door, if it’s not right. We never compromise on quality.

We work diligently to expertly pair food and wine ensuring that each compliments the other. Signature cocktails and plentiful and refreshing scratch-made, non-alcoholic beverages are always well-received offerings. Culinary Concerts is licensed by the State of Connecticut to purvey product and serve your guests.

Our kitchen at its core - is green - just like our “pear” skin. Foods are prepared and customers served with a dedicated commitment to preserving the planet through recycling, reducing waste, buying environmentally preferable products and a long-standing mission of "maximum efficiency and maximum “yield" with minimal impact toward energy use and avoidance of non-sustainable consumables.

We are designers from the plate to room – able to offer items from a considerable inventory of our own fine English white china, silver flatware, crystal stemware and 100% Egyptian cotton napkins, to French baskets, white porcelain, a plethora of platters and serving trays – even wood burning grills and antique tables.

If it’s not in our inventory we invite you to peek into our “Little Black Book” connecting you with professional resources for stationary suites, room design, lighting, flowers, entertainment, site support, valet parking, etc. With our team in place and entreé to these contacts, each detail of your event can be managed and coordinated in one central location by our talented team.

Our goal is to over-deliver at every turn and we promise you an extraordinary event that will exceed any and all expectations.

highly recommend!

It was a pleasure working with Chris and his team. From the tasting to the wedding day, we were truly impressed with his culinary creations. Several guests came up to us throughout the night and were ... Read more raving about the food too! Chris was very flexible in working with our budget and providing us many options, we ending up opting with a "stations" style menu that truly captured some of our absolute favorite foods! Not only is Chris a character, but his team is extremely nice and helpful as well. The day of our wedding we were running late and there was a real crunch to get the flowers and decorations set up--Chris' team jumped in and helped seamlessly to make everything perfect. Would definitely recommend, especially to those getting married at Eolia...he was an expert and gave us some great advice about the flow of the venue and setup.

HIGHLY recommend Chris from Culinary Concerts! We would've given more stars if it were possible on here! Chris is an amazing caterer who will get the job DONE at your wedding. He worked with us to ... Read more make a menu that 100% defined our preferences as a couple. He made great suggestions and his food is so delicious! People are still talking about the meal at our wedding! We booked Chris pretty quickly because he really works with couples to make sure that the menu is not the typically steak, fish, vegetarian option sort of thing. We had 2 meetings with him where we tried his food (which is just so good!). We decided to go with a sit down dinner with restaurant style ordering. The options were a veggie burger and chicken kebobs, which is not traditional wedding food. The portions were fairly large and each entree had a couple of side dishes on the plate. The cake we got was White Chocolate and it was so moist and our guests loved it. We also had a gelato bar and donuts. Honestly, it makes us a little sad that our wedding is over because we will miss our relationship with Chris and his amazing team and food!!! HIGHLY recommend! You will not regret it!

Chris is truly fantastic. We had him cater our wedding at Eolia Mansion in June and we would not have been happier. The food was incredible (we got so many compliments) and his staff were great. He ... Read more dealt with a change in policy from the venue (they got rid of all the tables we were planning to use 6 weeks before the wedding...) and found a great solution in two days. His priority is the quality of the food and service on the day of -- and not as much the administrative stuff -- but as long as you're at least a little bit organized you'll be in good shape. Would hire him again in a second!!
