Experience
Owner David Welch founded his first photography studio in 2005, and since then he has enjoyed helping families capture their joyous occasions. This dedicated artist graduated in 2011 with a Master of Fine Arts degree in Photography from the Savannah College of Art and Design. In 2015, his entrepreneurial spirit was commended by the Martha’s Vineyard Chamber of Commerce with their 40 Under 40 award.

They are happy to provide more than one photographer to ensure that every genuine reaction and loving glance is captured. David is pleased to arrange engagement, destination wedding, and wedding portrait sessions for happy couples. The final assortment of images can be provided in an album, on canvas, in digital files, or in matted prints. This business can also create save-the-date and thank-you cards.

Best Photographer on Martha's Vineyard!
David Welch is the absolute man! He’s easily the best photographer on MV and our guests truly loved him so much. He came over and did our table lay photos a few days before during our site visit. Then he also did our Welcome Dinner and then on wedding day he truly went out of his way to capture every detail including a drone photo of everyone at our wedding! He’s beyond talented, beyond helpful, and beyond amazing. If you’re doing an MV engagement or wedding, trust me you need to use David Welch or you are really missing out. Thanks again David for everything you have done for us and going out of your way to make our engagement and wedding weekend so perfect. We will always cherish the memories thanks to you!

A fun, talented professional
David was the perfect photographer for our last minute COVID-19 wedding on the Vineyard. He was wonderful and flexible from the start, while being professional and safe given everything going on. We loved that he so beautifully captured both the big and more tender moments of our day. He made the entire experience fun and light, even managing to distract the groom enough to capture some truly candid (and not goofy, forced smile) photographs. Our families also loved his good natured and laid back style. The photos speak for themselves - just gorgeous. We couldn’t have chosen a better photographer for our wedding day.
