In Oz, quality wedding dresses are either ridiculously expensive or of the type that I had already seen a thousand times before. However, Discovering Design by Lannette’s 'Ava' dress on Etsy was like winning the lottery. I instantly fell in love with its unique back and clean art deco like lines. Throughout the entirety of the dress making process, Lannette always gave alternate solutions and thoroughly explained all of my many questions. She was very flexible and happy to alter her design to suit my preferences; including a neckline from a dress that I saw on her "Design by Lannette" Facebook page. As we collaborated Lannette was always conscious to ensure her design matched my personality. This included: adding pearls, crystals and beading to the lace; re designing the back to best compliment my curvy figure and creating a stunning Juliet cap veil and peacock feather hair clip! The day I received my dress and veil, I was gob smacked. The quality of the fabrics is great and beading on the veil and dress is as beautiful as it is intricate. She has even masterfully hand sewn rolled hems! Of the people who I have seen my dress and veil, they have all commented that I got more than my money’s worth. One even stated that the quality and beauty of them is up there with the likes of Johanna Johnson, and I fully agree! Unfortunately due to me recently gaining weight since giving my measurements the dress currently fits slightly snug. When the weight is lost though, I can see that it will fit perfectly and make my womanly curves resemble an old Hollywood screen siren! I am thrilled that I made the decision to contact Design by Lannette. Because of her I can genuinely say I have a one of a kind dress and veil that has been made just for me and it includes all the elements of her design that I originally fell in love with. My only regret is that I can't thank her in person for all effort she has put into my dress. I cannot recommend her highly enough. She is outstanding.

I found the dress and wanted to do a few changes to it. Lanette was right there with me. She had 2 more going out before that also had changes done and let me see them and decide what would work for me. She took tons of time and messages to discuss what I wanted to do and any concerns I had. She let me as much a apart of the process as I wants. So much so that I got to help decide the placement of a bit of the beading. In the end it was the most amazing dress I could of ever hoped for. When I took it in the the alterations place of a few tighten ups the ladies wanted to know which deginsner was the maker and how many thousands it cost. They were blown away when I said it was a one of a kind and told them the price. If you are worried don't be it will be your dream dress lanette will make sure if it. Trust her!! I did and I was just stunning. Thank you thank you thank you lanette!! Your the best.

Lannette was amazing!! My dress was needed in a crunch, and she came through and worked day and night to get my dream dress to me. She created the dress from a picture I found online, and it was everything I dreamed of. She is absolutely phenomenal, and I would recommend her to everyone I meet.
