DJ Shazzle Dazzle is an American musician, actress, technology instructor and disc jockey. Raised in Baltimore Maryland, Shazzle began her admiration for music at a young age. She is also the daughter to James Baynard, an American musician and former member of the R&B group Crown Heights Affair, who debuted their album on RCA records in 1974. Crown Heights Affair is known for their singles, “Dreaming a Dream”, “Every Beat of My Heart” and “Foxy Lady”.

During her high school years in Baltimore, she enhanced her music experience by singing in the high school choir as well as the Baltimore City Police Youth Choir. In addition to her love of music, she had a fascination with law. She received her first hand experience with political science through her internship at the US Attorney’s Office and Delegates for the state of Maryland. After high school, she was granted several scholarships to attend Bowie State University as Fine and Performing Arts Vocal major.

As a member of Bowie State University, she was a member of the University choir, Gospel choir and Symphony of Soul Marching Band (percussion). While at Bowie, she stretched her musical vocals into the genre of Opera where she learned to perform in French, Italian and German. Through this experience, she has toured to Innsbuck, Austria where she enhanced her level of world music. Throughout college, she also became a go to person for local events such as performing background vocals for Vitamin C and country music’s Grammy Award winning artist, Shania Twain.

Shazzle Dazzle has also had the opportunity of singing the National Anthems in front of her hometown teams, The Baltimore Orioles and 2012 Superbowl Champions, The Baltimore Ravens. After Bowie, Shazzle Dazzle was accepted into Towson University where she received her Masters in Liberal Arts with a concentration in Music Education and Instructional Technology. After obtaining her Master’s degree, she contributed her knowledge and experience for music into love of instruction in DC public charter schools.

She graced her talents as music director for several middle school choirs and bands. Shazzle Dazzle has an affinity for musical equipment and soon infused this love of music and technology into her teachings by introducing her students to digital music production, and thereafter began teaching technology and media through STEM related projects such as robotics, graphics, simulations, video production and audio engineering.

Dj Shazzle Dazzle, is known today for her abilities to offer entertainment of any kind through music for all ages for private parties, weddings, homecoming, school party, corporate events or concerts.
