My wife and I had the privilege of partnering with DJ Squirrel for our wedding earlier this month and we couldn.t be happier! We had the opportunity to work with him throughout the year to put together a playlist as well as structure interactive activities throughout our wedding reception. It was truly a magical day and that is thanks to Dave aka DJ Squirrel! We truly appreciated his attention to detail, responsiveness, and care for our wedding. If you are familiar with the bar/club scene in Northern VA and Washington DC, chances are you have been to a venue where DJ Squirrel is at the booth. We were familiar with DJ Squirrel from an event we experienced many years ago and then tracked him down because we KNEW he would be the perfect wedding DJ for us. DJ Squirrel has some of the best skills we have ever heard with his blends/transitions and vast library of music in any style you can imagine. And even if you aren't as familiar with DJ-terminology but just love all-around good music, all you need to know is that DJ Squirrel WILL deliver an individualized, entertaining experience tailored to your taste, vibe, and guests. He is extremely professional, kind, creative, and full of great ideas. He listens, offers options, and is available whenever needed throughout the planning process (which we know can be a bit challenging and stressful!). He's also an EXPERT emcee, keeping all the signature elements on track throughout the night (ceremony music, speeches, parent dances, wedding party intros, bouquet toss - he does it all!!)
Oh, and about the "party" I mentioned in the title -- DJ Squirrel has some of the BEST equipment, lights, speakers, glow sticks - anything you can imagine to transform your reception space into your own personalized dance club. If you prefer something more low-key, he would still be an amazing choice for your wedding thanks to his variety of experience and adaptability.
Oh, and he will even bring a Photobooth on site, complete with an attendant. He truly can do it all, and does!! I cannot say enough about how much fun it was working with DJ Squirrel. He was a huge reason why all our guests had an absolute BLAST at our wedding. Everyone stayed on the dance floor, kids went crazy with the coolest glow sticks I've ever seen, and he made our every request come true!! THANK YOU DJ SQUIRREL!!!

DJ Squirrel was everything we wanted for our big day. He included everything we asked and had everything we needed/wanted ready. He was very responsive and detailed. You always worry your wedding may be boring but let’s just say, we didn’t want the party to end. The dance floor was always open and a great space for dancing/fun. We didn’t want the night to end and a-lot of that has to do with this DJ. We had so much fun and so did our guests-highly recommend!
