We are a couple from Hong Kong. We know nothing about hosting a foreign wedding, but Dolce Vita offered so much help and recommendations throughout, which we greatly appreciated. When we arrived in Rome, there were some hiccups just days before the wedding, Daniela was able to offer plan B, and, most importantly, comfort, to us, which was a great relief! We cannot thank her enough for that. All along Daniela was amiable and responsive. She was not shy from sharing her ideas with us, and we surely loved how she would think of ways to get us a good bargain!

When my husband and I were in the beginning stages of wedding planning, we actually “interviewed” a few wedding planners, but eventually chose Daniela from Dolce Vita Weddings. We live in DC and wanted someone who is familiar with Rome, as well as the venues and vendors there. We were able to meet with Daniela and our vendors/venues a year prior to our wedding, and it was obvious from the vendors that Daniela has a positive reputation amongst them!

In hindsight, we are grateful that we chose Daniela. Our welcome party, wedding ceremony/reception, and farewell brunch exceeded our expectations. Daniela was easy to work with and communicate with. If we needed to touch base with her via video chat, she was able to set up a meeting as soon as possible. She’s very organized — each email thread has its own purpose (music, florist, menu, etc.), which was really helpful when our questions seemed all over the place!

It was evident that Daniela knows the vendors and venues well. She sent us many options for our Welcome Party, Church, Reception, and Farewell brunch — we were able to look into each venue, ask her questions, and see pictures/videos of wedding parties she had previously planned there. She also sent us different options for florists, photographers/videographers, bands, and DJs. We appreciated the variety to choose from, and she was helpful in narrowing which vendor and venue was best for our vision and budget. We loved working with Daniela from Dolce Vita Weddings!
