Double Cake started in 2011 when Yaritza Lozano and her husband Orlando Santiago (who is a graphic designer and the original assistant) started making 3D cakes for different friend activities. Their cakes stood out because they combined their knowledge in art and Yaritza's new found love for baking. So after posting some of their work online they started getting lots of request and little by little, 5 years later, the business had grown to the limits of their kitchen. There literally was no more space left for even one more cake pan so they decided to take business out of the home and to the next level. Their cake repertoire also expanded overtime from 3D sculptural cakes, to elegant and modern ganache wedding cakes that are the pride and joy of this new Double Cake: Baking Studio.
