Co-founder, manager, and musician in the band, Ether Saure loves to keep busy booking and performing at gigs. He loves all music genres, but his favorite ones to perform are R&B, Motown, Soul, Funk, Pop, Rock, and Jazz. Ether appeared on the Disney/ABC tv show High School Musical Get In the Picture in 2008 and made it to the Top 10 of the finalists on the reality singing competition show. Ether and other members of the band have also appeared as finalists on American Idol, The Voice, and have performed with major national acts such as The Temptations and Nick Lachey (98 Degrees).

He loves playing with a band that has lots of vocal harmonies and horn players. In his opinion, the bigger the band the better! He says “There are so many possibilities when you diversify your band with lots of different instruments. You can play just about any genre if you have all the right people on stage.“

When Ether isn’t on the stage or managing the band, he is a husband and father of two kids. In his free time he loves to spend time with family, play video games, go on road-trips, watch Marvel or Star Wars movies or tv shows, and loves to write his own songs for his solo project or with his other music group called The Soul Review!

Cornell grew up in Lincoln, Nebraska and has had a love of music from a young age. He has fond memories of listening to disco and Michael Jackson, and recalls that as being his first introduction to music and singing. Cornell met up with co-owner Ether Saure to do a jam session one night, which turned into a acoustic duo, then transformed into what is known today as the Downtown Collective Band!

When performing, he brings an energy that you are certain to feel throughout the night!
