We are so happy we found this jeweler when we wandered in from the rain in the summer of 2020 when we were visiting Newport. We were instantly struck by the gorgeous rings and Kevin's kindness and patience when discussing how he makes custom rings. That visit basically expedited the next move in our relationship toward wedding planning! He created gorgeous custom engagement and wedding rings based on what we individually liked, and he was extremely accommodating and reasonable in his pricing. He made my engagement ring look like a flower as I had wanted and I always get compliments on its beauty and originality! My fiance worked with Kevin to create my engagement ring and raved about the experience. He was flexible, kind, took the time to explain the process of creating a custom piece, and was willing to work with any budget. The ring came out perfectly and was exactly what we wanted. We also used Duris to create our wedding bands and had an equally fantastic experience. Additionally, I brought a strand of my grandmother's pearls to be shortened for the big day. Not only did Josie restring them to the perfect length, but she created gorgeous earrings from the leftover pearls. The prices are affordable and the service is above and beyond. My fiancé has large fingers and was not able to try on sample rings at other retailers. Duris mocked up his ring In silver so he could actually try it on then made it in gold. Literally the most beautiful piece of jewelry and we get compliments on it daily. So nice to have custom work for the wedding! They also do custom engraving!
