We had a small wedding and a small two tier cake-- German chocolate with traditional filling in the center and mocha in the other two layers and Carrot cake with salted caramel filling. This cake was fantastic and as hard as it is to pick a favorite, we LOVED the salted caramel with the carrot cake. I can't express how delicious Jenica's creation was and how much we appreciated her communication and scrumptious work.

We were a destination wedding so all of our communication with Jenica was virtual and we were always pleased with her response time and level of communication. We knew we were in good hands and everything went off seamlessly.

We would highly recommend her business and are only sad we can't eat more of her cake anytime soon!

I highly recommend Jenica’s work. She is professional, responsive, thoughtful, and kind! It helps that her cakes are also delicious! We thoroughly enjoyed the process of trying her samples (she made mini cupcakes of the different cake flavors with different frosting options). We chose a combination that was not overly sweet with complexity (brown sugar vanilla with vanilla bean buttercream). We had a couple formal consultations before we were happy with our design. Jenica is really knowledgeable and walks you through everything including shape and size. Jenica also worked with us when we requested using one of our favorite jams in the cake. On delivery, she decorated the cake with fresh flowers. The final product not only delicious but stunning! We had multiple guests approach us to say ours was one of the best wedding cakes they had tasted.

Jenica was amazing to work with throughout our wedding cake selection process! She put together the most delicious tasting package and overnighted it to us in Boston so that we could taste all the flavors we were considering for our wedding cake. We had a difficult time narrowing it down to just one flavor combination because they were all so delicious so Jenica recommended we select two different flavor combinations for our guests to choose from, and we’re so glad we did! Our guests absolutely loved the brown sugar vanilla cake with raspberry puree and chocolate ganache and the pumpkin cake with maple buttercream filling – many opted for a slice of each! The cake itself was beautiful, and Jenica was able to place a few loose flowers from our florist on the cake to tie everything together. We highly recommend Fancy Pants Cakes for all your cake needs!
