Best day of our lives
When we first met Amy, I knew she was the one to get it done. She’s straight forward, very direct(which I love), extremely responsive(trust me, my then fiance hit her up constantly and she was ALWAYS so responsive and patient), she is extremely professional, and she just gets SHT DONE! Every step of the way, she was there for us. She kept us calm, minimized our stress levels and gave us the confidence that our day was going to be a success. She made several trips down to Mexico to deal with the different vendors and always gave much needed guidance and advice.
Come to our wedding day, all of her and my wife’s work came to fruition. The day was absolutely PERFECT. Everything flowed as planned and Amy was just as good as it gets. I wouldn’t recommend anyone else. She’s the consummate pro. THANK YOU for making this day the most memorable day of our lives!!
Wedding Planner
We were in the middle of planning our wedding in Valle de Guadalupe, MX, and we were feeling overwhelmed and like we were not making progress by doing it ourselves. I really did my research and had a couple of phone interviews and we decided on Amy because of her experience in the area, expertise in the wedding industry and her amazing attitude with taking everything over for us so we can actually enjoy the planning process. That’s exactly what happened, as soon as we hired her, she took over the whole process and really took away all of the stress Justin and I were dealing with prior to meeting her. She is extremely professional, very responsive, and always steered us in the right direction for every decision we had to make throughout the planning journey. Our wedding turned out better than we could have ever imagined, truly the best couple days of our lives, all thanks to Amy. Most of guests even said it was the best wedding that they had ever attended and how organized and easy going everything was. None of this would have been possible without Amy’s guidance and planning expertise to make this day so incredible. Over the years I’ve learned that what’s really important about a wedding is the couple coming together and being surrounded by friends and family. I love learning about my clients, their lives and what makes them happy. This allows me to hone in on what’s really important to them and help them create the most memorable day imaginable.
If you ask anyone, I’m a stickler for detail and my timelines are on point! I can be a bulldog, but only when I have to (in the best interest of my clients of course!) I founded First Comes Love with my best friend Lindsay in 2008 and took a huge leap of faith by leaving my job working for the world’s largest PR firm. But I’m so glad I did and have been so grateful that phenomenal couples like you allow me to call this my job.
I love anything and everything about design. I started in the wedding industry while I was in college. I worked for a wedding florist and a wedding photographer and got to see how design played into each of their roles.
I’m also a graphic designer so feel that all of my collective experience really helps me to create stunning weddings for my couples. When we launched First Comes Love, it was the perfect balance of design and logistics for me. I get to make things look pretty and keep the day running smoothly. I want my clients to have fun and be able to relax at their wedding.
I began working for a wedding venue and caterer in 2007, and I was hooked–I loved the excitement, the tiny details, and even the long hours. Eventually, I moved into corporate event marketing, but weddings have always remained my passion.
My marketing background provides a balance of creativity and detail-oriented project management skills, which ensure that a couple’s special day is executed seamlessly from beginning to end. I feel so privileged to help bring a couple’s vision to life while allowing them to enjoy every moment of it.
I love that every wedding is different from the next. I’m always excited to see the unique aspects each couple will incorporate into their wedding day.
