About
Getting Married at First Presbyterian Church of El Cajon...
We are delighted that you are considering First Presbyterian Church of El Cajon (FPC) for your wedding. We welcome anyone who wishes to celebrate their wedding vows with the traditions of our church. If you step inside our sanctuary you will find elegant architecture and a stunning pipe organ to enhance your wedding ceremony. Our hope is that your wedding day will be the first day of a long-lasting marriage.
Times and Dates
A wedding may be booked for any time of the day since we only book one wedding a day. Morning weddings tend to be booked around 11 am for a lunch reception. Afternoon weddings tend to be booked around 4 pm for an evening reception. We book weddings on most days of the week, except for Sundays. We may not be able to book weddings on certain weekends due to holidays or church events. Please note that we do not book weddings in November or December.
If you have any questions or would like to look into possible wedding dates, please contact our wedding coordinator, Lena Ruiz at weddings@firstpres-elcajon.org
Wedding Cost
The cost for a wedding at FPC is $800 for Members & Friends of the church; $1000 for Non-Members. This includes a wedding coordinator, sound technician, an organist or pianist, custodial services, and use of the bridal room. There is no fee charged to the bride and groom by the PASTOR, however most often a gift/honorarium is given at the discretion of the couple.
Wedding Reception
With three halls available for receptions, we are confident we can meet your reception needs. The cost of a reception is based on the hall requested. Cost includes use of the room, tables, chairs & custodial services, and a reception coordinator (the FPC liaison for planning a reception).
