About
First Vineyard, located in Nicholasville, Kentucky, has the longest history of weddings of any vineyard and winery in the United States. The first wedding was in 1806 when John Francis Dufour married a neighbor, Polly Crutchfield. There were two more weddings while the Swiss lived here.
We have resumed the tradition of weddings at First Vineyard. You could be a part of that tradition and have your wedding overlooking our beautiful vineyard and the Kentucky River valley.
There are many picturesque spots for your wedding if the weather is good. Now with the addition of our pavilion, you no longer have to worry about the cost of tents for shelter on your big day. In inclement weather, the sliding walls close and the facility can be heated or air conditioned for your comfort. The pavilion features two bathrooms and a small caterer’s kitchen as well as a beautiful large room with warm wooden walls that go with any decor.
Give us a call to set up an appointment to view the facility. You have to see it to appreciate the real beauty.
