Wedding planning is stressful, especially if you have no idea what the f you're doing. When it came to caterers, my husband and I called up a lot of the popular caterers in the LA area- we weren't really impressed with any when it came to quality/price point. We were recommended by our photographer to talk to Flatiron. We went for a tasting which was A-MAZING and that sort of sealed the deal for us. They were flexible with the menu and drink options and very helpful and knowledgable about the wedding/reception process. They had actually helped me go through the day-of schedule and recommend timing, etc.

A key thing that I loved about Flatiron was that they operated out of a food truck. It saved us a lot of money from doing a kitchen build out, and the food was extremely fresh and well prepared. It was also fun for our guests to see a food truck cater a wedding- it was something new and different.

So many people complimented us on our choice of caterer. I'd get married again just to have their food.

Chef Timothy was phenomenal. He and his team blew us away from the tasting to the brainstorming for the menu - every step of the way he was enthusiastic and inspiring. At our wedding everyone raved about the food. My (now) husband and I are total foodies and the food was pretty much the most important thing of us and they delivered tenfold. They were also so nice it felt like having friends catering our wedding. We would use them again in a heartbeat.

Flatiron was absolutely amazing. We began inquiring about their catering services, but Tim told us that they do wedding planning and production too. Deciding to go with their catering, wedding planning, and wedding production was the best choice we made. We really wanted a charming DIY backyard wedding with a fancy picnic feel and lots of dancing. However, we were remodeling our home and would not be moving in until the week before our wedding. OMG! How are we going to plan a wedding AND finish remodeling AND move into our new home??? Flatiron to the rescue!

Tim and Alex did a great job of capturing the feel of what we wanted for our wedding. They found bohemian mid-century modern rentals and charming lights to set the mood that did not cost an arm and leg. Tim connected us with a fabulous bartender that made a super unique drink menu for us. My husband and I are huge music fans so they found us a DJ that kept everyone dancing all night. Two weeks before the wedding, I told them I wanted a photobooth. No problem, they had me a couple of quotes by the end of the day. Our wedding was exactly what we envision without the stress and hassle of a normal wedding.

Flatiron catered both our wedding and brunch the next day at our house. For the wedding, we wanted a high-end picnic feel. The menu that Tim came up with was fun and imaginative. Who knew grilled grapes were so good? We had a variety of passed appetizers and a couple different stations where the food changed over the evening. His food was a hit with everyone! The brunch the next day was great too. Tim even made his own Champagne cured lox.

With all of the beautiful details, you would think that the services of Flatiron would cost a fortune. They were so reasonable in comparison to others that we checked with. Additionally, Flatiron always went the extra mile to help us out. We love Flatiron!
