For The Maids began in April 2013 when Auri and her husband Andrew (who had started another tiny jewelry shop a few months earlier: powderandjade.etsy.com) realized that some of their customers were using the jewelry as gifts for their bridesmaids. Thus, For The Maids was born in Auri's parents' basement where Auri and Andrew were living at the time. A year later, they set up shop and enlisted amazing people to help them in their goal of providing the best option for brides who want to give their bridesmaids beautiful, personalized jewelry.

I purchased gold bar necklaces for each of my bridesmaids from this vendor as a way to ask them to be in my wedding. The necklaces came in a cute box that said "Will you be my bridesmaid?" on them and then I had them make one specifically for my maid of honor that said "Will you be my maid of honor?". All of the girls loved them and I've seen them wearing the necklaces already! The necklaces were high quality for the price paid - all around great deal!

These girls gave me the necklaces I wanted when asking my girls to be my bridesmaids. I plan to have them wear them with their dresses on the wedding day! They came out great! They were also super amazing in the fact I did place an initial order and they didn't turn out the color that i expected or appeared in the photo online. They were super quick to replace and fix the order, send me new, and reimburse the amount. Best customer service on Etsy i have experienced and all the girls loved their necklaces! I love the one i ordered for myself as well!
