Furnace Town is beautiful and there's so many options as a venue and It's one of the best values for your money. It's great if you're looking for something different then the everyday wedding venues in the area.

This is a great venue. Our guests loved it! It is beautiful and reasonably priced. It makes a great rustic chic wedding. We only held our reception here but the site also has a small church and plenty of space by it's spectacular furnace to set up for a ceremony. The only downfall is that it is almost entirely volunteer run which can sometimes make it difficult to get in touch with them since many of the staff are part-time and they have limited hours. Additionally because they are a mostly volunteer run non-profit, they can't provide staff to assist with set-up, planning or day of coordination. So couples interested in this site would just need to be prepared to take on these tasks themselves. However, the event staff there are extremely nice and helpful and will do their best to make your wedding special. A few of the volunteers did go out of their way to help us set up and clean up. They also allowed us to use their lights and bales of straw for decoration free of charge. They were also very accommodating with our set up and clean up. They allowed us to set up the day before and clean up the day after.... which many venues do not allow. Also if you choose this site, your money goes to helping preserve a non-profit historical site and nature preserve rather than some corporate hotel. We can't wait to go back and visit!
