We just got married in January at Birch Wood Vineyards and DJ Tommy from Get Down Tonight Entertainment was our master of ceremonies. Everyone (and I mean EVERYONE - even my elderly grandparents) absolutely RAVED about how much fun our wedding was and how they can’t believe how packed the dance floor stayed all night long! Tommy was extremely timely, communicative and professional both with all our pre-wedding interactions as well as on the day-of, and not just that, he was FUN! You can absolutely tell that this isn’t just a job for him, he LOVES what he does and as a result, you can’t help but feed off his energy! Aside from a few dinner service song requests and obviously all the ceremony music, we pretty much gave him free reign to play what he wanted during our entire reception and I’m so glad we just let him do what we hired him for because he absolutely NAILED it! Our dance floor never emptied all night long and he played a good mix of genres that everyone knew and enjoyed. I was shocked to see certain family members up dancing all night because as far as I knew, they were never really the dancing type – even our parents were beside themselves and that says something! Tommy also brought with him these awesome foam glow sticks that all our guests LOVED using as props and I can only imagine the amazing photos and videos we will get back now thanks to him adding that little touch! I’ve been to about 13 weddings now before throwing my own and when they say a DJ can make or break the day, it's 100% true. DO NOT SKIMP ON YOUR MUSIC VENDOR! We’ve been guests at quite a few weddings where the reception just never really elevated after the ceremony to feel like a party or celebration which therefore made the reception as a whole pretty unmemorable and at times...boring. We did not want to be one of those people! We wanted all of our guests to walk away wishing the party didn't have to end and to always remember our day for the celebration that it was - so, music was hugely important to my husband and I and I am SO happy and grateful that we chose Tommy and GDTE! He was everything we were hoping for in a DJ and I can see why he comes highly recommended from our venue!

My husband and I booked Nathan Bishop of Get Down Tonight as our wedding DJ and we were not disappointed! Nathan was extremely responsive during the entire process and so easy to work with. About a month prior to the wedding, he sent me a wedding worksheet via email to fill out before our last meeting. This was super helpful as it allowed us to stay organized when we met, and didn't leave me feeling like I forgot to mention anything. Nathan also put in the extra effort to make sure he had the pronunciation of all the names in the bridal party correct, and to include any songs I felt were special. On the day of, I found myself much more busy than I had anticipated. While I was being pulled left and right by guests/other vendors, Nathan kept the party going and there wasn't a song played that left the dance floor empty. He was there whenever we needed him, and also kept up with the timeline of the night. So many family members and friends came up to me at the end of the night to tell me how great the DJ was. Nathan truly made the reception so fun and memorable, and I will definitely be recommending him as well as the entire company of Get Down Tonight to everyone in the future!

We had Mike V, He was by far the best DJ (and my friends can attest to this) that I have ever seen. We were on the dance floor from the end of dinner until they were kicking us out of the country club. I loved working with Mike and would recommend him to everyone I know!
