When I purchased a sample sale wedding dress, I had no idea how stressful it would be to find a dry cleaner that I could not only trust with my dress but wouldn't over charge me by preying on the deep fear another place could ruin it! My search began after calling the dry cleaners recommended by my dress shop. This particular cleaner's pricing started at $500 but since my dress had intricate ruffles at the bottom, said it would likely be $700-$900. After picking my jaw off the floor, I went to work searching the entire DMV area for a reputable business with a fair price and I found it at Gowns Remembered. Terri was personable and reassured me everything would be fine and she would have it ready in 1 week. When I picked up my gown, it was practically glowing. They did an amazing job! The cleaning was pristine and they'd perfectly pressed each and every complicated ruffle for a very fair price. I would recommend them for any upcoming bride before their wedding or any bride looking to preserve their dress as well!

I tried to take my dress first to a place in Bethesda, MD that wanted to charge me $600 and dip my lace dress into water, when the tag clearly said dry clean only. Luckily, I found Gowns Remembered - they made me feel comfortable handing my dress over, did a great job, and were very reasonably priced. Worth the drive out from DC.

Gowns Remembered did a unbelievable job on my Wedding Dress. They were very nice, sincere, and professional and answered any questions or worries that I had with my dress. I was very weary leaving my dress with anyone and they made me feel comfortable. The recommended cleaner that was on the label on my dress was very rude and arrogant, so I chose not to go with them and go with Gowns Remembered. I tried to make a conscious effort to be careful with my dress during the wedding, but there was some make up on it that they removed. They made my dress look brand new. They have a lifetime warranty for the dress yellowing and you can take the dress out to look at it with the gloves they provide. They were very prompt, they said six weeks and I had it back in four. They don't take credit cards so they allowed me to take my dress home and mail them a check, very trusting. There price was very reasonable!
