Green's is a lovely setting for a wedding. Our daughter's winter wedding was in their extra room (with a wall of windows overlooking a harbor of private boats). There were a total of 40 guests. The event coordinator took care of all our needs from the planning stages to the actual wedding day (the bride and groom live 2,000 miles away, and we live 200 miles away). We met once before the wedding; all our preliminary questions were answered, and suggestions were made to make the day of the wedding flow. During the few months before the big day, any further questions, or concerns we had were promptly addressed. On the day of the wedding, the room was ready for the celebration when we arrived. The event coordinator and staff welcomed us all then seamlessly saw to our needs with professionalism, grace and an unobtrusive yet joyous demeanor. They kept the event smoothly on schedule; the bride, groom, and guests never felt rushed. The food was amazing; beautifully prepared and presented. The salad, with seasonal greens and fruits, was delicately seasoned with a cider vinaigrette. The two entrees were a savory delight. And, the desserts were a perfectly delicious ending to the meal.
We highly recommend Greens as the perfect setting for a wedding; it is intimate, welcoming, artfully decorated, and delicious.

I simply couldn't be happier that we booked our wedding at Greens. The view is peerless and the food is outstanding. And don't worry - we had a slew of Southern guests and none of them missed the meat.

The staff really go out of their way to accommodate any requests.

We had our wedding reception at Green's following the ceremony outdoors at Fort Mason, and couldn't be happier with the whole experience.

The setting was fantastic. We were lucky to have clear skies, so the restaurant glowed as the sun set behind the Golden Gate during our event.

The staff is excellent. We always get excellent service at Greens, so no surprises there.

The food was delicious. We're vegan so the vegetarian menu is perfect for us, but many guests said they really enjoyed the food and were impressed to have the event at a destination restaurant. For a private event you have to select items from the full menu so choosing well is up to you, but we liked our options.

Choosing well on wine is also up to you, but again the Greens list provided lots of good options. With a little advice from a friend, we chose some affordable wines that our guests were very happy with. Some got very happy, so it seemed our choices worked out well.

One thing to know about drinks: Greens doesn't have a full bar. They offered a couple specialty cocktails, but *no* spirits that aren't in those two cocktails. That won't do for my family and friends, but were able to strike a compromise with Greens to offer a few other spirits and easy mixed drinks with a some extra $$.

We used the private dining room -- the second room -- for dancing after the meal. That worked very well for us.

The Private Events Manager, Danielle Garland, was very easy to work with and responsive throughout the process. She's on top of every detail, so once you factor in how many details she has to stay on top of, you can appreciate why she works at high speed! She also deserves credit for striking the right balance between being flexible and knowing when details need to be firm and clear.
