The Hanover inn was absolutely incredible in every way for my wedding venue. For a reasonable price they offered absolutely everything. Nicole was the venue coordinator but essentially doubled as a wedding planner making it so that I didn’t have to hire a planner. She was quick to respond and worked with me on pricing, menu choices , decor etc. they also included a three tiered cake that was absolutely stunning and could have been in a magazine. For the day of every single staff member was so welcoming, kind and helpful. This included the valet, front desk staff, bartender, servers. Absolutely everyone was incredible and made the day go smoothly and stress free. For the food, multiple guests came up to me and said it was the best food they have ever had at an event and I definitely agree. They also cleaned up for me at the end of the night so I had nothing to worry about after our wedding. The bridal suite, ceremony room, cocktail hour area and ballroom were all beautiful. I can’t say enough good things about this establishment. Can’t wait to go back for our anniversary!

My husband and I chose the Hanover Inn for our Wedding Reception after we met and started dating at Dartmouth. We made the best decision! From the start of planning, Nicole (Hanover Inn's event/wedding planner) was on top of our timeline and worked hard to ensure all of our individual requests were met (from the beer to the use of the outdoor terrace, etc). She organized all of our separate vendors (so we didn't have to worry about a thing on the weekend of) and worked with the banquet manager, Ryan, for our day of timeline and menu. The staff at the Hanover Inn made all our guests feel at home for the weekend and they are still raving about the service, attentiveness and food. Nicole, Ryan and their team's timeline was so spot on and the night was everything and more than Nick and I ever imagined! Everything about the weekend was so special for us and our guests. Our decision to hold our wedding at the Hanover Inn was far the best decision that we made throughout the wedding process. From the day we booked, their event coordinator (Kate), worked with us in planning and coordinating every aspect. She functioned as a full wedding planner, handling arrangements and details entirely independent from the Inn’s contractual responsibilities. Kate’s involvement allowed us to sit back and enjoy the planning process and trust that she had everything under control. She was honest, straight forward, prompt, and exceptionally creative. In the week leading up to the wedding, we delivered décor etc to the Inn, and Kate worked with her team and our vendors behind the scenes to make sure that everything was perfect. We completely trusted her, and were so thankful to be able to relax and simply enjoy our wedding. The catering service at the Inn was also absolutely incredible. We met with the head chef early in the planning process, and he worked closely with us to tailor our appetizer and entrée selections to fit with our wedding theme and add a personal touch. Every item was exquisite and delicious, and like Kate, we quickly realized that the kitchen was so skilled that we were able to simply give them a bit of direction and then trust them to be creative. Beyond the details, we really appreciated how much personal interest the Hanover Inn invested into us and our families. They genuinely cared about our guests having a wonderful experience and our families fully enjoying our wedding. We were thrilled with our wedding and the entire process leading up to it, and we look forward to many visits to the Hanover Inn in the years to come.
