Facilities and Capacity
At Hotel Blackhawk, four unique spaces will cater to your particular needs whether you’re planning a lavish celebration or an intimate gathering. Located on the top level of the hotel, Club Davenport boasts picturesque river views for those desiring a touch of romance on their night, and can fit up to 50 guests. The Bettendorf Room is small and stylish, ideal for those celebrating among close friends and family. The Davenport Room offers 2000 square feet of beautiful space that can accommodate up to 100 for seated dinner. The luxurious Gold Room has been meticulously restored to its original grandeur, and couples can gather up to 200 of their loved ones in this elegant space. The Davenport Room and Gold Room can also be combined to seat up to 300.

Review summary
Hotel Blackhawk is a highly recommended wedding venue with a beautiful and elegant space. The staff, including the in-house wedding planner Kimberlin, received praise for their professionalism and helpfulness throughout the planning process and on the day of the event. The food was delicious and the service provided by the staff was excellent. The venue coordinator and banquet coordinator were both commended for their clear instructions and helpfulness. Storybook Wedding
I wasn’t sure how having the dance floor up above would work instead of on the same level as the tables but it was fantastic!
Food was delicious and nicely sized portions. No one left hungry and remarked how good the food was.
Best Wedding Venue
Hotel Blackhawk promotes their in-house wedding planner. As we planned the wedding she was helpful in answering any questions we had regarding the reception. I'm sure if I asked for help with planning she would have helped, however I am glad I did not rely on her to reach out to me for that. When I did reach out with questions or ideas she was VERY helpful and even more so responsive. I never felt like my emails were missed. The day of is really where she shined, she was so helpful in helping to set things up, getting our lunch from one room to another, and working with our vendors. I never heard a peep and didn't have to stress about it either, I knew it was in good hands. She really took care of us and some of the small details really helped to make our day special.
Once she left for the evening the banquet coordinate was extremely helpful and communicative on what we should and (optionally) shouldn't clean up and could do the next morning. She gave clear instructions on where to find our cake and did it all with a smile.
In conclusion, I have zero regrets about having our wedding reception at the Hotel Blackhawk and would recommend them to anyone that is considering having an event there.

We love playing events at Hotel Blackhawk. We have performed in the Gold Room to many times to count over the years. This is one of the most beautiful reception halls in the area. The rooms natural contours makes it stand out like few others do when dressed with up-lighting. Great staff and a lot of options for event setup.
