After almost thirty years as an administrator and raising two children in Washington, DC, Jane studied jewelry and metalsmithing at the Corcoran College of Art and Design.

Her career included serving in the Clinton White House, working in the House and Senate and for an Ambassador. Born in Wisconsin, Jane received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Theater Administration from the University of Wisconsin - River Falls, then traveled the world, teaching English in Japan and working with Mother Teresa in Calcutta. She was a guest scholar at the University of Bergen, Norway.

Believing that the best jewelry is miniature sculpture, Jane spent a year working with sculptor Luan Mulliqi in Pristina, Kosovo. Incorporating these sculptural miniatures into her jewelry designs, she brings the charm of ancient work into jewelry for today! Her creations are worn by dignitaries including Secretary of State Madeleine Albright.
