My name is Jen, but you already knew that from clicking on this page. :) I am a photographer based in West Norriton, Pennsylvania which is a suburb about 25 minutes outside of Philadelphia.

MY BACKGROUND

Let me tell you a brief background of how I got into this business. My journey to become a photographer really began at my engagement session when I was a bride myself. I was fascinated that THIS is what someone does for a living (being a photographer). I was more interested in what was going on behind the camera than anything else. After I got married, I purchased my first Nikon DSLR and began teaching myself photography. I went to a class, read countless blogs, watched countless videos, and practiced on family and friends. I officially started my business in the summer of 2011 and have not looked back since. Being a photographer was a dream that turned into a goal that became a reality. I am truly blessed to do something that I love.

MY STYLE

My goal with every wedding is to document it in a simple yet creative way. I do not overprocess my images in editing software. I merely enhance every image to make them look as beautiful as they can but keeping them very natural looking.

I consider myself a natural light photographer. While I use flash photography when necessary, such as at the reception, I always prefer to utilize natural light to the fullest of my capabilities.

One of the best things about what I do is the friendships that I have established with my clients. I love getting to know them and what they are all about. I want my clients to feel like they have a friend behind the camera. It allows them to open up and be themselves in the photographs.

A LITTLE BIT ABOUT ME

I have lived in Pennsylvania my whole life. I never really thought of it as being a beautiful place to live, however once I discovered my passion for photography I feel like I have seen this area in a new light. We have great parks, architecture, cities, towns, and beautiful seasons.

I married my best friend in September of 2010. He is my biggest supporter and I love him to pieces! He does real estate for a living so let me know if you are in the market for a new home or apartment rental - he is the best! :)

We have a nearly 4 year old rottweiler named Sadie May and a nearly 2 year old rottie named Caesar whom we adopted in June 2013. They are both the loves of our lives! We are expecting our first non-furry baby in June 2014! :)

Some things I love to do (besides photography): cook, travel, go to the beach, watch reality TV (anything on Bravo), spend time with family and friends, shop (duh!), pinterest, decorate (I have an interior design degree), walk through Valley Forge Park (5 minutes from me), do crafts, and have girls nights.
