We are so incredibly happy and thankful to have had Joseph and Erika as our wedding band. Not only are their talent and expertise unmatched, but they were incredibly accommodating. They were our first pick for bands, so we were beyond excited when we were able to book them. Our wedding was in Nantucket on LDW (no small feat), and they went to great lengths to book affordable travel and make the trip on such a busy weekend (also, amidst their other LDW events/engagements). When it came to planning, we had some unique asks and they went above and beyond to make our vision come to life. For starters, they learned all of our first dance songs (bride/groom, mother/son, father/daughter), and even personalized them with little tweaks we wanted to make. Week of our wedding, when I had the ridiculous request for them to send me a rough recording of our first dance song so we could practice since their version would be different from the original, they didn’t even hesitate. We freaked out when we heard it because it was even better than the original! Already assuming it was too much to ask, we also threw out the possibility of them learning one additional, special song the week of the wedding for the ceremony processional, and to our surprise they, yet again, didn’t even hesitate to accommodate. Their song list is extensive and exhaustive, so the fact that they were willing to learn four additional songs (that they probably won’t ever be asked to play again because they were unique to us) says a lot about how talented and how much Joseph and Erika care. Speaking of their song list, whatever mood/vibe you’re going for, it’s on there. We marked some songs we loved and others we could do without and discussed the ambience we were trying to create, and Joseph and Erika absolutely nailed it. Honestly, they made the whole event. Our guests were in awe of them, and they kept the energy and vibes high. As if they hadn’t already exceeded expectations, after our wedding they offered to cut a professional studio recording of our first dance song. They ended up giving us two high-quality mixed/mastered mp3s of our first dance song; one was the full song and one was the version we had them personalize and abridge for the dance itself. We’ll cherish them forever. I can’t recommend Joseph and Erika highly enough. They are top of our referral list for anyone planning a wedding or event, and we hope to find another excuse to book them in the future!

Having worked closely with Joseph and Erika on numerous different types of events, I highly recommend them for live music and DJ entertainment! Erika and I have had the pleasure of playing many shows together over the years, and each time, she has brought an unparalleled level of professionalism and energy to the space, both as a DJ and as a lead singer/frontwoman. She and her duo partner Joseph make a truly dynamic duo. Their ability to adapt to the mood and preferences of any crowd is truly impressive. You can catch them playing laid back acoustic tunes for ceremonies and cocktail hours, crushing a DJ set (with live vocals) and playing high energy singalongs... all in the same night. I have recommended Joseph and Erika to a number of my clients as well, and they consistently come back to thank me for the recommendation and mention their engaging performance style and easy-going nature which makes them a breeze to work with. 10/10, they're the best.

AMAZING! Our wedding was more intimate and small and Joseph & Erika were the perfect duo to help create the perfect atmosphere. They were very hands on from the moment we booked them and listened to what we wanted for our special day. I was hesitant in booking live music because a lot of musicians online seem to doctor up their vocals and it's hard to know what you will actually get when they perform live. This was NOT the case with Joseph & Erika, what you hear is what you get, and it's beautiful!!! I highly recommend including them at your wedding if you are looking for live music, they can be upbeat and lively or play more mellow music to create the perfect ambience during dinner reception!
