We were beyond thrilled with our experience using Kamp Weddings as our photographers for our November 2022 wedding at Senate Garage. Amanda and Joe are both true artists and just two incredibly kind people who are easy to work with. Posing for wedding day photos can be an overwhelming experience but they both made us feel at ease. And of course, the photos themselves were everything we wanted them to be and photos we will treasure for the rest of our lives. We wanted our wedding photos to feel candid and natural, and they absolutely delivered (while also providing some gorgeous posed photos that made our parents very happy). Looking back at our wedding photos is like reliving the day in a way we could have only imagined. They truly captured the love, the joy, and the fun that we value so much in our relationship and our relationships with our families and friends. We feel lucky to have worked with them. Amanda and Joe from Kamp Weddings are truly a dream team. They were clear, communicative, and excited from the very first meeting we had with them. They were quick to answer any questions we had or quell any concerns about logistics leading up to our big day.

On our wedding day Amanda and Joe as well as their second shooters Joey and Kathleen were stupendous. They stuck to schedule perfectly and kept the day moving smoothly from start to finish. Most importantly though, they were delightful to work with as directors. They had ZERO stress about them and contributed enormously to the overall vibe. They made us and our families feel truly comfortable on what can be an overwhelming day.

The sneak peek photos they submitted to us are truly breathtaking. We absolutely love them and brought tears to our eyes when we opened them on our honeymoon. We are beyond excited to see the rest of their work from our wedding.

It’s been three months since our wedding and we still talk about how awesome it was to work with Kamp. We worked with them for both an engagement shoot in Asbury Park and our wedding in Brooklyn and they legitimately made both days even better. To start, while we may not always be the most comfortable being photographed, Joe and Amanda have a way of just putting you perfectly at ease. They joke, they make you laugh - they make it seem like you’re hanging out with friends you’ve known for years and can pull out the real you instead of the posed you. They even get excited when you have outlandish ideas (like stage diving at your own wedding). On top of that, they have an eye for backgrounds and poses and colors in the environment that results in just breathtaking photos.

When it came to the candid photos of our friends and loved ones, Amanda and Joe captured so many fun and precious moments for our day and made them look like art. We honestly go through our gallery of photos and have to stop and wonder how they managed to get some of the shots. We are so happy that we had them document our day and wouldn’t hesitate for a moment to suggest them to a friend.
