What you should know about me? I am not only a Wedding and Portrait Specialist who loves and is passionate about my Business but also a mom and individual who truly believes in love, friendship, and unity. Call me crazy but I still believe in fairy tales and happily ever after too! I am also a true Aquarian who is most at home on the water. I find peace and serenity being around any body of water. I have a wonderful and supportive family. My mom, dad and sisters have encouraged my photography since I started with a manual focus Minolta film camera in the 1980′s. That seems so long ago. My three children have been the greatest accomplishment in my life. All three have truly inspired me artistically and played an active role in my photography business for years. I consider myself truly blessed with a wonderful family and a multitude of fabulous friends.

My accomplishments include many different areas of photography. I guess you could call me a life cycle photographer. My business originally started by photographing families. I overheard another photographer looking for a wedding assistant so began that journey as a wedding photographer in 2002. One thing led to another and I went out on my own in 2004. I never looked back and opened one of the best doors of my life. Weddings lead to babies, then larger families and I also began photographing high school seniors once my own children entered high school. So here we are in 2022!!! I have been privileged to receive many awards in recent years; Best of The Knot 2017-2022 and became a Hall of Fame recipient, Best of Wedding wire 2017 -2022, Best of Thumbtack 2016 just to name a few and published in many publications. What a wonderful and charmed life I lead.

My goal for the past few years has been to educate my clients on the benefits of using professional photography and professional products as well as focusing on dynamic lighting. The market and economy are forever changing. I believe that market still values quality and expertise when planning a life event or preserving a special moment. I offer story telling art with a mix of traditional photography. I am excited to say I exceeded every expectation in 2021 even during covid and am looking forward to another whirlwind year in 2022. Life is good.

I photograph locally in the Wilbraham, Springfield, Pioneer Valley and Western MA areas. I also do a large amount of work at the Cape which feels like my second home.

Photography is my passion. As a third generation photographer, it's in my blood! My grandfather opened a photography studio in Chicopee during the 1940's. Growing up, I spent hours looking at family photos, studying the faces of friends and loved ones. I read the hand written notes on the back of the pictures and I was taken back to the exact moment the photograph was taken. Even if the picture was snapped long before my birth, I could feel the emotion from that time. Photographs were and continue to be an absolute treasure in my household. I want to help families create their own treasures, precious moments in time turned into family heirlooms.

My family is everything to me. I have a fantastic husband and two amazing children. We live in Wilbraham with a myriad of pets in our fixer-upper home that we absolutely adore. I've learned to cherish this sweet chaos that is our day to day life! During our free time you can find us working on the house, playing in the yard, blasting music, or hiking.

Karen has been on my team for many years as a second shooter. She is a kind, warm and creative spirit when shooting weddings. I couldn't ask for a better person by my side. Her true photography love however is landscape photography which always blows me a way. She has a true gift.
